God our father is holy and anybody following him must live a holy life. Holiness brings inner peace, order, and dignity to a person’s life. When someone chooses holiness, their words, actions, and thoughts begin to show kindness, humility, and love, which makes holiness truly beautiful in God’s sight.
If you live a holy life it takes your mind away from sin and draws you closer to God. When you're closer to God you enjoy a good relationship with him. The Bible teaches that God delights in a clean heart and a life that seeks righteousness. Holiness is not outward appearance alone, but an inward transformation that produces good fruits such as patience, faithfulness, and self-control. As written,
Psalm 96:9 Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth”
If we live a holy life it inspires non believers to come close to God so that they can enjoy the benefits we get from serving God. When believers live in holiness, they show the world God’s goodness and truth through their daily lives.
