Christian Life: A Prayerful Life | MCGI Topic Review
As a christian, going to church and reading the bible is okay , but being a christian is more than that, maintaining a consistent relationship with God through prayer is a big part of the journey. In the MCGI teaching titled "Christian Life: A Prayerful Life," Brother Eli Soriano explains that prayer should be a part of our daily lives, not just something we turn to during emergencies or special occasions.
One thing i love about this gospel is that it reminds we believers that maintaing a consistent relationship with God is a big part of the journey.
Sticking to this will guide our decisions , give us peace of mind , and make our faith strong.
Saying long complicated words is not actually what defines true prayer. The sincerity of the heart, humility, and how close the heart is to God is what matters more.
Bro Eli showed us a perfect example, even during both moment of pain and joy, Jesus still made out time to pray.
If our Lord Jesus Christ made out time to pray, then we should know that prayer is also very important for us. We don't just pray when we need to ask for things,we also pray to give thanks and being on alert spiritually.
Philippians chapter 4 vs 6-7 is actually One key scripture that was shared during the teaching and it says
“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
