Good evening ladies and gentlemen
My name is Chukuemeka Francisca Ugochukwu
Today is the 20th day of April 2021
I want to share what I learnt from today's mass indoctrination tagged "TO LOVE"
What is a love?
Love is a strong affection. It can also be defined as an intense feeling of affection and care towards another person.
We should love one another, not to do evil to our fellow men.
We should feed the hungry, even our enemies.
Anything we don't want others to do unto us, we shouldn't do to others.
Matthew 7:12
Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them:for this is the law and the prophets.
Being merciful :for they shall obtain merciful.
We should forgive others of their offenses, if we want ours to be forgiven.
Matthew 6:14
For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you :
We should not file charges against others in the church of God. This is highly prohibited.
1 Corinthians 6:4-6
If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church.
I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not one a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren?
But brother goeth to law with brother, and that before the unbelievers.
To be able to handle this,we need to dwell in love. If we love others we would easily forgive.
How would the unbeliever regard the church if brethren keep filing charges against brethren?
1Corinthians 1:10 tells us to dwell in unity in the church of God.
We should be joined together in the same mind, without division.
Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you: but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
The primary doctrine of Christ is love,so we should love God and our fellow men
While we were yet sinners, Jesus died for us and the same way with others while they are still not perfect, we are to love them regardless as God has done for us.
