My contribution to today's question: is a man's faith under the control of God.
Yes Man's faith under the control of God because God has supreme authority and absolute power over all things.
Genesis 2:17
But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil thou shalt not eat of it .for in the days that thou eastest therefore of thou shalt surely die.
The verse implies that Adam have a free choice even though he was prohibited he can eat it but there's a penalty
Genesis 2:16
And the lord commanded the man saying of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat.
Originally the first man and woman created there's something God gave them after their creation God gave them a commandments.
According to the passage God told Ada not to eat from one .there are parts of tree that is useful to man not the fruit the bark leave can also be eaten.
Making us realize that God is a man of love he will not just let us do wat we want to do and let us get lost he will always give us warnings.
The warning implies the love and kindness of God for us .
But if we disobey God love and kindness we have to answer to the consequence of our action.
