Thanks be to God.
Heb. 13:16
"But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased."
There are things that are good which ordinarily as a man we should do, even though, they are not commanded by God.
Numbers 30:2
"If a man vow a vow unto the Lord, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth."
Making a vow is voluntarily/willingly.
We must obey that which comes out of our mouth as a vow.
In vow, you are the one imposing the obligation to yourself.
A vow comes with a promise that must be fulfilled in order to get the result. It is more like a trade by barter situation.
II cor. 9:7
"Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly , or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver."
Give to God according to what your heart decides, not forcefully, for God loves a cheerful giver.
Give offering according to what you have/heart desire;for tithing give to God one-tenth of your income.
Every contribution should be done voluntarily.
There Are Three Sacrifices To be Made To God
*praising/giving thanks unto God.
*Doing Good.
*Giving contributions.
All these are done voluntarily
Col. 3:15 and I thessa. 5:18
We should always be thankful for it is Gods commandment.
We should not only thank our fellow man, but also thank God. God is the first person we owe our obligation of thanks to before any other person(man).
Matt. 6:3
"But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:"
If you do not help when you are supposed to:you are answerable to God.
