And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him. — Luke 15:20 (KJV)
In the parable of the prodigal son, something significant is worth our study of the attitude of this self condemned son. Though he realized his mistakes,he wasn't ready to die in it. He understood the father's wealth and compassionate attitude towards sinners. He understood the need to arise,no matter how justified it is to remain in a mistake.
Everything might not be okay, the mistakes might leave scars on us,the economy might be down, but it doesn't stop us from arising. The only thing that will bring the difference is to arise and seek the presence of God. Staying in that addiction, iniquity, falsehood, poverty, difficulties, etc will not solve the problems. It is time to arise and go to the Father. God is waiting to clean us up and make us whole again financially,in our marriage, carrier, spiritually and all round prosperity. But we must arise and go back to our first love in Christ.
Brethren, what is your testimony? Is everything okay? Glory to God if it is. But is there any area of life you are struggling to make things work out? Come to God in prayers and tell Him how desperately you need Him. Our God is merciful, forgiving, loving, compassionate and powerful enough to bring a total change just as in the case of the prodigal son.
It's time to arise and seek God, for he that seeks finds. Again I say ARISE!
