Summary of what i leant;
It's an obligations for us to seek God, for in him we live and have our being. God made us to dwell on the earth so that we may live and serve him. Philippians 2:13 for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.
There are two things that exist here on earth, which is the world of the good and the world of the evil. We must choose one but God said we should chose good that we may live. We must always examine our faith in God because the devil is always on the move to take us out of our faith. 1Peter 5:8
NIV:Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
There are four kinds of heart using the parable of the sower.
The sower planted seeds in the farm and the seed fell into four places, here the seed represent the word of God while the ground represent the heart of men. Lets look at the first seed which fell on the way side.
This is the word of God that fell into the heart of men but was stollen from them by the devil through distraction. The devil have easy access to this kind of people. Secondly the stony ground represent the ones that believes in the word of God but when temptation comes they forget the word of God because the word was not rooted in them. Thirdly are the ones that fell along the thorns. These ones are the ones that are ambitious about life, wealth and material seekers of the world. The word of God is not in their heart, they are after the things of the world. Lastly the one that fell on the good ground, this ones are the one that have the good heart, they listen and obey the word of God and they are rooted in the word of God, when trials and tribulation comes they are shaken or moved, for they bring forth fruit at the right season and their leafs never wither no fade.
In conclusion we should always listen and obey the word of God, we should posses the good heart that the word will fall on and it will have root and produce fruit.
