Everyone has the ability to decide what he wants because God has given a man the power to decide is fate. Sometimes, one can say, "God, take control here as I commit all to your hand". Now by saying this, you allow God to take totally control in the situation.
We are given the freedom to decide the outcome of our lives, but God has given us instructions on how to live our lives, it is completely up to us to live according to His word or to decide the outcome of our lives.
The scripture says that He wish above all that we may prosper and be in health. This is the scripture, we are to decide whether we need that prosperity or not, God won't force anything on you, but the best life to live is to let Him take control.
