Greetings Everyone!
For us to receive answers to our prayers, we should pray in faith, without doubting. We should be confident that God will do whatever we're asking of him. What we cannot accept, God is able to do for us, let us always pray in faith.
According to Philippians 4:6,
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
We are admonished to be calmed in every situations, without worries or anxieties. God knew that challenges, problems, hatred, failures, disappointment, etc, would come in life, but we should remain calm and pray to him, committing our challenges to him, believing, and he will send us peace through Christ Jesus.
To pray to God is to make our request known to him. So we have to direct our supplication and request to God. Prayer is requesting God for something. For God to do for you something which you cannot do or nobody else can do for you. That is the meaning of prayer to God when we are asking God things beyond the comprehension and beyond the power of a man to do. The Apostle Paul said, do not be anxious in anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with Thanksgiving, let your request be made known unto God.
Assuming our loved one is sick, we should knell before God and pray to him as the giver of life, to heal our loved one, and our prayer should be in the name of Jesus. God is hear us and grant our request.
For example, you are in a situation where there is an earthquake. You are praying to God for salvation. Father God, I know that you have power over nature. Kindly protect me in this situation, my family and my loved ones, and spare us from the wrath of your anger. I pray in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
If you have faith in God, God will grant our request.
Hebrews 11:6
But without faith it is impossible to please him, for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Without faith it is impossible to please God, to please God, and make your prayers be known unto God, you must ask in faith.
James 1:6.
But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering or he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord.
So to receive anything from God, we must ask in faith. We must believe that God can do whatever we're asking of him.
Remained Blessed!
Thanks be to God!
