Yes we are to pay offerings and tithe because God instructed us to pay tithe in Malachi 3 vs 10, God told us to bring all our tithe to God...10 percent of our income will not do anything to us so why can't we obey....to the glory of God I was a victim of this but God is helping us, God has to pay tithe and offerings is a command from God and we are to make sure we obey that command because they are blessings obeying God commands. And if we do not obey God command they are curses according to the book of Malachi 3 vs 10, so to avoid the anger and curses of God we need to obey our Father in heaven, many persons abuse the fact that Christan gives tithe and offerings is very bad , God said if we pay our tithe and offerings he will open the windows heaven towards us.
