Baptism as the first doctrine is for the washing away of sin, and it is important to us as believers.
Before being baptized, one should first accept the word of God. He should receive and accept the teachings of Jesus Christ. This is why it is important to belong to a Bible believing Church, A true church.
Ephesians 3:6
This mystery is that through the gospel the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel, members together of one body, and sharers together in the promise in Christ Jesus.
Most people don't want to belong to a Church. They feel it is not necessary but Christ made it compulsory for us.
Ephesians 5:25
Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her
The church was ordained by God to make known the wisdom of God according to the eternal purpose of God in Christ Jesus, according to Ephesians 3:10-11.
Christ is the head of the Church and if we claim to love Jesus then we should associate with what is important to Him.
