WHAT I LEARNT:
The heart is an organ in the body that pumps blood throughout a person's body.
The broken heart syndrome and a heart attack are two conditions that can affect the heart. Heart attacks are caused by diseases in a person's body, whereas broken heart syndrome is caused by our emotions.
Therefore, it is important for us to keep our hearts free from impurity, filth, and corruption.
Since the word of God has the power to cleanse our hearts, we should practice living by its precepts and keep it in our hearts. James 1:21 and John 15:3 both mention this.
Always maintain a pure heart, free from evil, practice healthy living, and never forget to smile.
TO WHOM SHOULD WE CONFESS OUR SINS?
God should be our first port of call for confession, followed by the person we offended.
According to Psalm 32:5, when we offend others, we also offend God, so we should repent and seek forgiveness. It is God who extends pardon.
James 5:16 instructs us to pray for one another and to confess our sins to one another.
WHEN IS IT APPROPRIATE TO SERVE GOD?
We shouldn't put off serving God until we are older. Because we don't know when we'll leave this earth, we should seize every chance to serve God. Nobody knows what will happen tomorrow, so we should always serve God, according to James 4:13–15.
We are commanded to remember our creator while we are still young in Ecclesiastes 12:1.
