Here are some of the highlighted lessons picked up from the Bible exposition that took place in zoom.
Brother Eli spoke on the end time and when the word of God shall be understood, he mentioned that when the knowledge of science have grown, then the Book shall be opened and men would start understanding the ways of God. That time is NOW. You can seek the word of God and you would not find the true doctrine because the would always be a con preacher who used the word for his own benefit and is actually preaching against the doctrine of Christ.
Revelation 5:1-5 Then I saw in the right hand of him who sat on the throne(A) a scroll with writing on both sides(B) and sealed(C) with seven seals. 2 And I saw a mighty angel(D) proclaiming in a loud voice, “Who is worthy to break the seals and open the scroll?” 3 But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth could open the scroll or even look inside it. 4 I wept and wept because no one was found who was worthy to open the scroll or look inside. 5 Then one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep! See, the Lion(E) of the tribe of Judah,(F) the Root of David,(G) has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals.”
The scroll that the above passage is speaking about is the word of God, only Christ can open that Book and teach you therein what is written.
A sister also asked how can you introduce the word of God to a non believer. Brother Eli answered by saying, the word of God is powerful enough to convert anyone, you really don’t have to preach all you need do is invite them to listen to the word. You must have faith that God would perform his miracles and convert the heart of those who listens. He also mentioned that the way to open a person’s mind is found in the way you treat them, the way you also live your life is a great indicator for them to be converted. We should learn to live well so we can attract and convert souls for Christ through our actions.
Hebrew 4:12 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
