Salvation is not about how often we go to church everyday or every Sunday or how often we pray, but what God uses to give us salvation is through our faith and good heart. We don't have to overlook religion because that's the thing that guides us towards God. Scripture emphasizes that it is God’s grace that saves, not human effort or strict observance of religious traditions. True salvation comes from trusting in God, repenting from sin, and believing in His promise of forgiveness.
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast” (Ephesians 2:8–9).
This shows that salvation is a gift from God, not something earned through religion alone. While religion can help people grow in faith and understand God’s will, the Bible makes it clear that faith in Him is what truly brings salvation.
