Holy week is the period when children of God remember the death, resurrection and the agony of Jesus Christ on earth. The Bible clearly speaks about the events that happened during this time, such as Jesus entering Jerusalem, His crucifixion, and His resurrection on the third day. These events are found in the Gospels and are very important to the Christian faith.
During holy week is when we remind ourselves the sacrifice just made in the cross for us. When done with sincere faith and devotion to God, it can help believers grow spiritually and remember the meaning of salvation. The important thing is not only following traditions, but truly honoring Christ through repentance, prayer, and obedience to God’s word.
