Death came into this world with the help of sin. In the beginning, God created man to live in fellowship with Him, but when sin entered the world through disobedience, suffering and death followed. The Bible teaches that every human being experiences physical death because all people are affected by sin. However, death was never meant to be the end, because God also provided the hope of eternal life through Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ came to conquer sin and death through His sacrifice and resurrection. Those who believe in Him are promised eternal life beyond physical death. This gives comfort to believers during times of grief and loss, knowing that God has prepared a better life for those who follow Him.
