LESSONS LEARNED:
In Acts 20:28, the Bible records that Christ Jesus purchased the church of God by his own blood. However, God the father and Christ Jesus our one, so the Church is should be called the church of God.
From Hebrew 16:16, the Bible records 'churches of Christ'. This was talking about church of God which were in Christ Jesus. Also from the Bible in Matthew 16:18, it's clear that Jesus Christ was saying what God instructed him
Church of God could be found recorded in eleven verses of the Bible, while church of Christ appeared in just one verse; Hebrew 16:16.
According to Matthew 16:18, Jesus only speaks of what he hears from God the father. When he said, upon this rock, I will build my church, that didn't mean church of Christ but church of God because he was speaking what the father commanded him.
It's clear from John 12:19 that Jesus only speaks what he hears from the father.
In Matthew 16:18, Jesus said to Peter; thou art Peter and upon this rock I will build my church.
Here, there are 3 persons, the speaker which is Christ, Peter and God the father, speaking through Jesus Christ.
Christ is the rock on which the church of God is built on.
In John 12:49, we understand that God gave Christ a commandment, what to say or speak.

According to John 3:34, he whom God sends, speaks the word of God.
So God is the owner of the church.
In Ephesians 3:15 the Bible says that every family is named after God and in Daniel 9:19, we understand that the people and nations are owned by God.
Hebrews 3:4, makes it clear that the builder of everything is God.
So the Church is the church of God.
In Deuteronomy 18:18, God told Moses that He'll raise a prophet for his people, and will put his words in his mouth.
So Christ Jesus speaks as God gives him utterance.
In 1 Corinthians 12:28, God gave the church, apostles, prophets, teachers, etc. So it's God that owns the God.

EFFECTS OF THE TEACHING:
I learnt that the church should officially be called the church of God.
