If there is something very precious to me, it is when I see little children. There is actually no pain as painful as losing a child. I am not saying this because I am a female. No not at all, I have seen people witness it and sometimes I tend to ask myself why is it that innocent children will have to die.
When people die most especially the little ones, there are a whole lot of questions that flood our hearts and that is in the aspect of Where are they now? Will I see them again? Why do they die? These questions have at one point run through my mind before.
Let me start by saying that the bible makes it clear to acknowledge that God is fully aware of children.
Jesus himself said in Matthew 18:10, "Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, that in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father. When It comes to children, God sees them and they are covered.
Let me use this instance. When David in the bible lost his son, of course he wept and even fasted when the child was sick. But immediately the child died, he actually said something very powerful that touched me.
In 2 Samuel 12:23, he declared, "I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me." David had peace. David understand fully that the child is safe somewhere and that someday, he will see the child again.
You see, every child that actually leaves the world early, they are fully known and loved by God. Not only that, they are safe somewhere. They are not in hell, they are in heaven.
