Our live is always filled with doubts and anxiety that most of the time it might even want to becloud us. Of course there are actually moments that life sometimes feels so heavy and it looks as if the future looks so unclear. I have been there before several times. But the good news is the fact that we are not there alone.
One of the first thing we actually need to understand is the fact that God knows much more about our fears and we are not alone. He has not forgotten or leave us alone.
In Philippians 4:6, the Bible says, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." You see, we need to come to a point whereby we learn that the answer to anxiety is prayer that is backed up in praise and Thanksgiving.
Most of the time and based on my own personal experience, I have come to understand that doubt often comes when we actually focus more on our problems instead of focusing on God solving those problems.
Look at the case of Peter, initially Peter was walking on the water as far as his gaze was on Jesus. But the moment his eyes shifted, he begin to sink. That is how many of us are. Sometimes we start strong in faith because at first our gaze is on Christ.
But the moment we take our gaze away from God, we begin to fall because life begins to happen to us. The only solution to all these is us setting our eyes to God irrespective of the situation and problem.
