If there is one of the things that have become so difficult most of the time as I have come to realise is the fact that we should remain calm most especially in the face of trials, trust me, it is not always easy. Life itself sometimes always bring out challenges and tough times that will test our faith in God.
There are instances in our lives that everything we feel actually is heavy and most of the time fear will even want to take over. For me, I have had hard times multiple times that I was overwhelmed and confused.
There are even sometimes I don't even know what next to do. But in all these moments, I have always learnt to stay calm and how I do that is always to trust in God completely.
The Bible teaches us in Isaiah 26:3, “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.”
This clearly is pointing out that the peace that passes all understanding always comes from God.
We should always fix our eyes on God and not the problem because only Him can solve the problem. Even if the situation is looking like a mountain, I always make sure I fix my eyes on God. He is always with me.
Now one of the things I have even come to understand is the fact that trials are actually meant to even strengthen our faith. James 1:2-3 says, “My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.”
Now it is very hard for you to tell people that you need trials for your faith to be strong in God. Every trail in God always carries a purpose.
This can be hard to accept, especially when the pain feels real. But I have realized that every trial carries a purpose. When I remain calm, I allow God to work in me and through me. I grow stronger, wiser, and closer to Him.
