Everyone actually wants the right path most especially when it comes to living and the big question that has been asked in the heart of a whole lot of Christians is the fact that what is even the right path in the bible?
Most especially when it looks as if it is getting difficult to make the right choice. One of the right path that I have come to discover that the bible taught us is the fact that we should sincerely follow God from the heart. When we do that, it is easy for us.
The bible even says it in the book of proverb. “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death” (Proverbs 14:12). This should open our eyes to see that sometimes it might look right but that does not mean it is right.
Not all ways are from God. It has also happened to me before. I will be so close to making a particular decision and I know without God guiding me, I will go astray. So what I do is to ask God for directions and trust me, it always works.
One of the things why I love the bible so much is the fact that it always tells the truth. The bible say it that the only right path is for us to follow righteousness and also obedience to God. In Psalm 119:105, it says, “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”
I love this verse because it makes me see that God’s word is like a light in darkness. Without it, I would be walking blindly. But with it, I can see where to step and where not to go.
As I conclude, one of the things I learn about the right path in the bible is the fact that love is part of the right path. Jesus taught us that we should love God with all our heart. If we are able to do that, we are on the right path.
