Should we believe our ancestors?

Thanks to God Almighty, it is once again my pleasure to share his word, which has to do with whether we should hear from our ancestors. This is an important lesson; the reason is that a lot have gone doing the wrong thing. As a matter of fact, we have to respect them as our past forefathers, and at the same time, our faith and trust have to be where God is. According to this, he warns us that we have to be careful over worshipping the dead or dealing with unacceptable spiritual guidance which is not from God.

Through the Old Testament, let us know that people always remember their forefathers, such as the Father of all nations, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, just because of the legacy they left behind, which is the reason we ought to emulate them and do like them as they have done in our faith, and mind you, our faith doesn't support depending on our ancestors for blessings, protection and so on. And so let's be guided and trust in Almighty God.
