It was a great time in the presence of God as I was privileged to participate in the MCGI Cares Live event that was held via zoom. The event was a memorable one as it comes with lots of teaching and lessons to learn.
Important lesson learned from today's teaching
John 15:8,8:31,17:17, 1Timothy 3:15,1:13, Hebrews 4:12, Matthew 19:9, Romans 6:22.
Brother Daniel urges us to always hold on to the truth. And what is this truth? The word of God. The word of God is the truth and we must believe in it with all our heart. How does it show that we believe in the word of God, is by keeping his doctrines and obeying his commandments at all times. Keep believing and hold on to the word of God in our lives because that's the only truth we know.
Singing
Singing is very important in our lives,. There are many benefits of singing which is very helpful to us as humans;
Singing is healthy to the body. It is an exercise, when we sing, there is an increase of blood circulation in our heart and that is very beneficial to us.
Singing also has social benefits, as we can make new friends and become popular to everybody around us.
We associate ourselves in a group easily, like the Choir or music group when we sing.
*Singing connects our body and soul together, we reflect more about ourselves when we sing good songs.
Bro Eli also told us that singing can also help us as Christians because it connects us to God. when a music artist sings, people are happy and pleased to gather and watch them, they make lots of money. Imagine when God is move by your praises and songs, imagine the blessings attached to it.
Forgiveness
During the program people where asked what they will do if their spouses offends them. I will say no one is perfect, let us forgive because we too can offend them also and they will forgive, it will be difficult for others to forgive us.
The Bible also told us as believers to always forgive, because our father in heaven always forgives us. We sin everyday but God always show mercy to us, let us do the same to others by forgiving them when they offend us, and for our spouses let us forgive because we are one with them.
Giving
You are never too small or big to give. The MCGI Cares team has set a good example for us on why it is good to give through their outreaches. You are always better than someone, because where you are now is the prayer point of others, so let us give according to how God has blessed us, help the poor and the needy. It is good to do good, that is why MCGI Cares, MCGI Shines...
