Greetings everyone, and welcome to my blog.
It is another wonderful privilege to reflect on the word of God through the teachings of His servant, Bro. Eli Soriano.
Promoting peace is one of the clearest ways we reflect God’s character. Throughout the Scriptures, peace is shown as something God deeply values. In the Old Testament, after times of conflict in Israel, God instructed His people to offer sacrifices as a sign of restored peace and thanksgiving (Leviticus 7:11–15).
Jesus also emphasized the importance of peace when He said, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of God” (Matthew 5:9). This teaches us that those who choose to spread peace are recognized and honored by God.
As Christians, we often desire to be Christ-like, but sometimes we struggle to practice His peaceful nature. Jesus taught His disciples a powerful lesson when He said, “If anyone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also” (Matthew 5:39). This was not a message of weakness, but a call to respond with patience, humility, and love rather than revenge.
Living a peaceful life brings blessings—not only spiritually, but also in our relationships and daily lives. In contrast, conflict, anger, and violence often leave pain, regret, and destruction behind. Peace protects us and allows God’s blessings to flow more freely in our lives.
Let us therefore become true ambassadors of peace wherever we go—at home, in our communities, and among others. As the Bible reminds us, “If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men” (Romans 12:18).
