Greetings everyone, and welcome to my blog. It is another wonderful opportunity to listen to the word of God through His servant, Bro. Eli Soriano.
Is organ donation acceptable? As Christians, we are called not just to receive but to give. In 1 John 3:16, we understand God’s love through this truth: Christ gave His life for us, and we are likewise called to give of ourselves for others.
Following the example of Jesus Christ, who sacrificed His life, we are reminded that love often requires selflessness. If we are willing to give our lives for others, should we not also be willing to give something smaller—like helping restore someone’s sight or improving their health? For instance, donating an eye can help another person see, and giving a kidney can save a life. After all, a person can live with just one kidney.
If you have the ability to help a loved one in need—whether a spouse, child, or fellow human—why hold back? A wife can give to her husband, a husband to his wife, a parent to a child. Offering a part of ourselves to save another life is not against God’s will; rather, it reflects His love in action.
In the end, love calls us to give—sometimes even sacrificially—so that others may live.
Thanks for reading.
