Greetings everyone, and welcome to my blog.
It’s another wonderful opportunity to reflect on the word of God as shared through His servant, Bro. Eli Soriano.
From a biblical standpoint, it is often said that those who die in Christ are not truly dead but are merely “asleep” in the Lord. However, many interpret this to mean that such individuals have already gone to heaven, experiencing eternal peace in God’s presence. There is also a common belief that those who accepted Christ and remained faithful until death immediately enter paradise, while unbelievers are sent straight to hell for punishment.
However, this view may not fully align with biblical teachings. Scripture suggests that no one has completely entered heaven yet, except for our Lord Jesus Christ and the thief who was crucified alongside Him, to whom He promised paradise that very day.
Additionally, the Bible indicates that “heaven” is not just a single place but can be understood in different dimensions—often described as three distinct heavens. This perspective helps us see that common assumptions about heaven may not entirely reflect what the scriptures teach.
Those who have died in the Lord before the rapture are believed to remain in a temporary or unknown state. This condition continues until the day of judgment, when every individual will be evaluated according to their deeds, as recorded in the Book of Life. The same applies to those who did not believe, though their experience in this intermediate state may differ based on their actions—whether good or bad.
Teachings from Eli Soriano also highlight the concept of three heavens. It is possible that this “unknown place” is part of these realms he refers to, which may be explained more deeply in future discussions. For now, the key point remains: until the final judgment, no one has fully entered heaven or paradise.
