Greetings everyone, and welcome to my blog. It is another wonderful opportunity to listen to the word of God through His servant, Bro. Eli Soriano.
Welcome once again, and thank you for continuing this journey with me. In the previous parts, we explored how the body adapts and how freedom from struggles is possible. In this part, we reflect on the hope of eternal life and what the Bible teaches about being in God’s presence.
The Scriptures clearly show that it is possible for humans to be with God in heaven. There are powerful examples that reveal this truth. Elijah, for instance, did not experience death in the usual way but was taken up into heaven by God in a whirlwind. Likewise, Enoch lived in close fellowship with God and was taken away, no longer seen on earth. These accounts demonstrate God’s authority to bring people directly into His presence.
Furthermore, the New Testament gives believers a strong assurance. When Jesus spoke to the thief on the cross, He said, “Today you will be with me in paradise” (Luke 23:43). This statement reveals that for those who have faith, death is not a separation from God. Instead, it marks the beginning of a new and immediate experience in His presence.
This promise is not something distant or uncertain. It is a present assurance for those who trust in God. The moment a believer leaves this life, they enter into God’s presence. This truth gives comfort and peace, reminding us that our hope is secure and that we are never abandoned, even in death.
Therefore, the message of the Bible about life after death is clear and encouraging. For those who believe, it is not a far-off event but an immediate reality. It strengthens our faith and gives us confidence to live each day with purpose, knowing what awaits us.
