Greetings everyone, and welcome to my blog. It is another wonderful opportunity to listen to the word of God through His servant, Bro. Eli Soriano.
MCGI Topic Review: Is Praying Alone Enough?
One of the most meaningful ways I connect with God is through prayer. It feels quiet, personal, and genuine. Whenever I pray, I believe I am speaking to Someone who truly listens and understands me.
The Bible encourages believers to pray continually. In 1 Thessalonians 5:17, it says, “pray without ceasing,” emphasizing how essential prayer is in a Christian’s life. Still, there are moments when I pause and wonder—can prayer alone be enough?
I’ve come to understand that prayer is more than just speaking words; God expects something deeper. As stated in James 2:17, faith by itself, without being expressed through actions, is considered dead.
This means my prayers should be supported by my actions. If I ask God for help, I must also be willing to do what is right. When I pray for others, I should reflect that prayer by showing them love and kindness. Prayer should inspire me to take action.
Jesus Himself set this example. He didn’t just pray—His life reflected His prayers through His actions and obedience.
