Greetings everyone, I welcome you all to my blog.
It's another great day to listen to the word of God by his servant Bro Eli Soriano
The miracle of Jesus healing the blind man at Bethsaida is a powerful example of divine wisdom, shown clearly in the way Christ approached the healing process.
In Mark 8:22–26, the Scriptures recount how Jesus arrived in Bethsaida and was met by people who brought a blind man, pleading for the Lord to touch him. Jesus took the man by the hand and led him out of the town. There, He spat on the man's eyes, laid His hands on him, and asked what he could see. The man replied that he saw people, but they appeared like trees walking. Realizing his vision was still unclear, Jesus placed His hands on the man’s eyes again. This time, the man looked up and his sight was fully restored; he could now see everything plainly. Jesus then instructed him not to go back into the town or tell anyone there.
These verses show that Jesus applied wisdom and intentional care in performing this healing. After the man’s first response, Jesus understood that the restoration was not yet complete, so He repeated the touch, and the man’s eyesight became clear. This demonstrates not only Christ’s power but His thoughtful, gentle approach.
Bro. Eli, in teaching about this miracle, highlighted the remarkable wisdom and professionalism Jesus displayed. He compared Jesus’ actions to how an ophthalmologist carefully treats a patient whose vision is gradually improving. Bro. Eli emphasized that eyesight often returns slowly for someone previously blind, and it may take more than one attempt before clarity is achieved.
Likewise, Jesus restored the man’s vision step-by-step, placing His hands on him again until the healing was perfected.
