Today was another wonderful day in MCGI, the topics of "Prayer" is really a broad one. The way by which we communicate with God almighty is by prayers, which makes praying very important in a life of every Christian. There are those words of God that we should put into our heart, we are not supposed to go to God in prayer without putting his words in our heart first, and we must be free from all iniquity such like womanizing, fornication, adultery, stealing, witchcrafting, jealousy, envy, gambling etc. these and many more are things our heart must be free from before going to God in prayer. Luke 6:45 explain to us that, what we have in mind or heart determines what comes out of our mouth, it may either be evil or pure. If your heart is pure your tongue will be pure but if your heart is evil, your tongue will be evil and it will not speak anything good or pure.
An evil heart prayer will not be honoured by God almighty James 3:6 -10 explain more better why.
Furthermore, Do not swear no matter what, because swearing is against the doctrine of Christ, let your yes be yes and let your no be no , as James 5:12 says: "But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation."
Prayer should be made with pure heart that your tongue will be pure,and your mouth shall speak pure and good things that way the God almighty will hear and honour our prayers.
