According to the bible it is appointed to a man once to die and after that judgement follows. I can't tell how different cultures bury their dead ot differs according to religion someone wrap and bury whereas some happy perfumes and pit in a coffin and then bury to show how they love their dead relatives.
According to Bro Eli he say that the Egyptians embalmed their dead love ones and they don't not put them in coffin just to preserve them thereby showing love and honour to them and also christain do the same by applying perfume on the body, wrapped it with linen clothes and put then in a coffin.
The issue of burying the dead differs according to religion some believe that a dead body can not stay more than 4days that's why they will not take time to bury the dead whereas some will take time and organise a burial ceremony with expensive coffin for the dead.
The book of Gensis 50 vs 26 tell us how Joseph was buried in tha land of Egypt likewise in the book John 19 vs 39 to 42 also lay emphasis too on how Jesus Christ was buried by wrapping Him in a linen cloth and then putting Him in a coffin that's were christain got the idea of burying the dead.
My concern is not about how we bury the dead, is we thar are alife how do we live our live, does our reflect drawing people to God or chasing then away? well the question is for you to answer.
