introduction
Greetings mcgi family! I trust you all are doing good, I salute everyone in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, this is my first post in this community and the first time to attend live broadcast, I hope am welcome to this lovely family.
The service today started with a ministration, song composed by bro Daniel Razon title my life I dedicate to you and also several songs were sang for about 35minutes.
Key points and what I learnt
2 Corinthians 4 vs 16
For which cause we faint not, but though our outward man perish,yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
We were taught from this scripture that the outward man is the flesh our body, material things which eventually dies while the inward man is the spirit of God in us. In this scripture I learnt that our inner man is restore through the word of God by eating the word of God daily and that will help our inner man in proper check of the delight of God's law.
I learnt that:-
- A man has two being ( the outward man and the inward man)
- The outward man get old and weak while the inward man feel delight in the law of God.
- God has a commandment about what to wear, we should clothe our inward man and our outward man as well, the outward man get afflicted and sometimes cannot run anymore but the inward man is strong as said In 2corinthians 4 vs 16
2 Corinthians 4 vs 18
While we look not at the things which are seen,but at the things which are not seen, for the things which are seen are temporal,but the things which are not seen are eternal.
We were taught from this scripture that we shouldn't focus on the outward man which is seen physically but the inward man on how its been renewed day by day.
Matthew 7 vs 15
Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
We were taught from this scripture that there are men who may have the outward man but inside them is not an inner man but a beasts,we have a man whose inner being is man but there is a kind of man that has an outward man because there are father's out there who rape their daughter which means the inward man is already a beasts.
Roman's 7 vs 22
We were taught in this scripture and I also learnt that the inward man feel delight in the law of God and the law is modest in appearance, loving our neighbors as our self and I learnt that we need to access ourselves if our inner man is delighted or against the law.
2 Corinthians 13 vs 5 Apostle Paul said we said we should examine yourselves whether we are in faith and if christ dwell in your inward man.
1 Peter 3 vs 3
Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting of hair, and of wearing of gold or of putting on of apparel.
We were taught that God prohibit adorning of hair, gold and putting of apparel like jewelry and I learnt that we need to adorn the hidden man of the heart whether it's corruptible or meek and quiet which is a great price in God's sight and I learnt that dying of hair with different colors is prohibited by God, even mixing of different chemical in our body which can lead to breast cancer medically and it's prohibited by God, lastly I learnt that we should give more attention to our inward man not adorning our outward man which can get weak or old.
Today I was richly blessed by the teaching and I gain alot which will cause permanent changes in my life, so am using this medium to invite you to join the MCGI Cares (Hive) community that study the words of God and also earn some reward by making our reactions on it.
