The bible teaches us that forgiveness is the key thing which we must take serious. God is merciful and he have been talking about forgiveness from the old testament to the new testament. He is ready to forgive us whenever we ask for his mercy. When we come back to God with a sincere heart, he always forgive because no sin is too big for him to forgive.
Psalm 103:12, the Bible says, “As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.”
The bible quotation above simply means God does not hold on any sun he have forgiven.
Jesus Christ also talked about forgiveness in the new testament, he said we should forgive one another so that our father in heaven will forgive us. Jesus Christ gave us a new begining with God by coming to die for our sins.
In 1 John 1:9, it says, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
