Gods pay more attention to our inward heart than our outward looks. A person may not belong to a religious group, yet still seek truth, love, justice, and the will of God. At the same time, the Bible warns that living completely without God can lead people away from righteousness and spiritual understanding. True faith is promoted by how faithful we are to God.
Jesus Himself spoke against empty religion. He criticized people who appeared religious on the outside but lacked love, mercy, and true faith in their hearts. The Bible teaches that salvation does not come from religious titles or traditions alone, but through faith in God and living according to His word. This means that simply being “religious” is not enough, and being without religion does not automatically separate someone from God if they genuinely seek Him.
