Divinity of our lord Jesus Christ
Today, We were taught that Jesus is not man but God who manifested in flesh. Some proofs that Christ is God and has been in existence before the creation of the world.
Matthew 16:13-14, Jesus ask his disciples who do men say I am. Some said Elijah, some Jeremiah but Jesus said, who do you my disciples think I Am. Peter said thou art Christ the son of the living God. To confirm his divinity nature, Jesus said, flesh and blood can not reveal this to you except my father in heaven. Christ confirmed that himself is the son of God. The true condition of Christ is that he is the son of God.
Psalms 2: 7, Another proof that Christ is the son of God. God said to our lord Jesus Christ, you are my son, this day have I begotten you. Before the world was created, Jesus was already begotten and is loved by God. This has proven that Christ is not a proposal but existing. Colossians 1:16, by Christ all things were created, both things in heaven and on earth. Also in John, all things were made by him and without him nothing was made that was made. God said in Genesis, let's make man in our image and likeness. This shows that Christ already existed before the foundation of the world. Let us, means that there are other people with God. The holy spirit also can create even the son. The book of Acts said, you have killed the creator of life who God has raised. This is talking about our lord Jesus Christ. I learnt that these Three work together, the father, son and holy spirit. Jesus was before Abraham. Christ is not man but God who manifested in the flesh. Hebrew 10:5, God prepared him a body. Jesus also said that he came down from heaven not to do his will but the will of the one who sent him. No Man comes down from heaven. This is a proof that Christ is not man but God.
In conclusion, John 1:1-3, Jesus was in the beginning because he is the word. He was also with God and he is God. This is a complete proof that Christ is God not Man.
