Death came into this world because of sins from the first people in this world which is Adam and Eve. God created this world for humans and all other living things to live in peace and love, but due to disobedience from Adam and Eve, that was when death entered the world. Because all people live in a fallen world, death became a reality for every human being, reminding us that earthly life is temporary.
The Bible also shows that death is not always a punishment for a specific personal sin. Even faithful people in Scripture experienced death. Human bodies grow weak with age, sickness, and the hardships of life. In this way, death is part of the broken condition of the world, affecting both the righteous and the unrighteous alike.
