LESSONS I LEARNT FROM THE ZOOM BIBLE STUDY ON 15-11-2021.
Hello everyone, I'm Olubunmi by name today is 28th of November and I'm here to share what I learnt from the Bible study that was conducted on 15th of November, 2021.
The Bible is not theoretical, it's not a theory or formula of life like the popular Big Bang Theory, theory of evolution. But rather it is a fact and would remain a fact, no matter what happens, even if unbelieving men attack it from all sides and angles. It's an accentuated and proven truth, because God cannot lie.
He says in the book of Isaiah ch 46:10
Isaiah 46:10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure.
God is the only one that has the ability to declare the end of a thing, from the beginning and it comes to pass. This is the capacity of God as God All by himself and God alone. And this is a very intriguing fact.
If it's a man that says it, it can change, but If it's God that said it consider it a fact which cannot be changed.
Just like in the natural world, the director of a movie has the ability to change either the storyline or cast or crew to whatever suits him . The words of a man no matter how powerful it is ,cannot state what will happen at the end.
No matter the attacks of the enemy, no one can prevent the intention of God from coming to pass. Just like in the case of Abraham, when God said he would make him the Father of many nations
in Genesis, 17: 4-5;
Genesis 17:4 As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations.
17:5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.
When God said this to Abraham ,he hadn't given birth to his son Isaac yet but God said it and it came to pass.
Till today we still declare that Abraham's blessings are mine .
Even if Sarah out of impatience convinced him into surrogacy by asking him to sleep with her maid,God still kept his promise to Abraham.
in Genesis ch 18: 13-14.
Genesis 18:13 And the LORD said unto Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I of a surety bear a child, which am old? 18:14 Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.
God told Sarah that she was going to have a son, but she laughed and God said, "Is anything too hard for me to do??". Sarah laughed because she felt she was too old for it, but she did have a son - Isaac according to what God has said.
And in Genesis ch 22:17, God told Abraham;
Genesis 22:17 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;
And it's evident today,we are all descendants of Abraham scattered all around the Earth.
We have evidences that show that the earth is round. It's in the Bible. In the book of Isaiah 40:22, it says;
"It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in" This was written in the Bible, 2000 years before Man discovered the Earth was round.
Even though the Bible clearly stated this fact, we have unbelieving men attacking it from all sides and angels. In 752 A.D, Pope Zachary,declared to say that there were antipodes to this belief, clearly to stop the belief that the Earth was round.
in the Antipode map, if you start from Phillippines you would come out in Brazil.
we have other people who declared that the Earth was flat, apart from Pope Zachary, Bishop Gabala and Rev. Richard Gibblings .
Bishop Gabala declared that, "The earth is flat,and the sun does not pass under it at night,but travels through the Northern parts as if hidden by a wall.
Bubbles are round because there is an equal pressure all around the outside of the bubble. The perfectly round shape that most bubbles have is called a SPHERE.The first full view Photo of the Earth is called "The Blue Marble Shot", the picture was taken on Dec 7,1972.
Events God had already foretold came to pass, in Genesis ch 15:13,
Genesis 15:13 And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years.
God told the Isrealites that they would be enslaved and leave the country (Egypt). Pharaoh tried to contest to it, and God sent the 10 plagues to him and to the Egyptians. in Exodus chapters 7-11.
with the final plague of killing all the first born sons in Exodus 11:5.
Exodus 11:5 And all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the first born of Pharaoh that sitteth upon his throne, even unto the firstborn of the maidservant that is behind the mill; and all the firstborn of beasts.
God told the Isrealites 4000 years ago not to eat these animals e.g Bat, monkeys and apes, because they were regarded as unclean. And whoever touches them would be unclean , he must wash his clothes and bath with water .God knew they could contract a virus through eating of bats, that's why he prohibited the eating of bats and apes for the Isrealites because there was no medicine discovered yet by then to cure them from the virus in case they contracted it. God couldn't tell them directly that it's a virus because they wouldn't understand. And we know that viruses are very tiny microbes which can only be seen through an Electron microscope. We know that HIV virus came from monkeys and apes . Viruses can be transmitted from animals to man.
The Bible reference for this is in, Leveticus ch 11
Leviticus 11:24 And for these ye shall be unclean: whosoever toucheth the carcase of them shall be unclean until the even. 11:25 And whosoever beareth ought of the carcase of them shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even.
Let us therefore believe in the Bible, because the Bible speaks the truth. No one can oppose God's will ,his will is going to happen, his purpose would surely prevail. Even if anyone tries to derail it,The counsel of God would still stand. What God has said are facts which cannot be refuted by anyone. If a man says it, it possibly won't happen because the heart of man changes (they can change their mind at any point in time). But if it is God no one can stop it from happening. Even enemies of God attempting to stop it, is still the will of God happening, because when he speaks everything obeys and he says my counsel shall stand and I will do all my pleasure.
