Greetings brethren, I welcome you all to my blog. It's another wonderful day to listen to God's word by his humble servant Bro Eli Soriano. Today I will be talking about religion according to the teaching by bro Eli.
Religion is an act of worshipping God according to the bible. The true definition of religion is to worship God in spirit and in truth. Religion is not just a set of rules and regulations guiding the christians, but the relationship between man and God. A true religion connects us with our maker and an untrue religion separate us from our maker.
As christians, we have to know that if we indulge in religion but do not train our tongue, regarding the way we speak carelessly (speaking hatred and saying bad things to people) then our religion is in vain, meaning that there's a good and vain religion. We should mind the way to speak or talk to others as true disciples of Christ.
Religion is where the true service of God is taught as the church of God in the bible, here we are instructed on what to do. As religious people, we are not suppose to say bad things or speak hatred to people but instead, we are expected to speak good to people, live a holy life, help those around us and do the will of God. It is our obligation to make people know that we are christians by or work, let's not be hearers alone but also doers of the word.
