Most people often ask this question whenever they encounter or meet those who are begging for money, food and other things. But the answer to this question is "Yes" we are financially responsible for the welfare of others.
As christians, it is part of our obligation to look into the welfare of our brethren. We were taught by our Lord Jesus Christ always to assist those in need whenever we are in the position to do that. Most people think that it's only when they have everything in excess that's when they will render help to those in need, but the bible made us to understand that we can assist our brethren with the little we have by sharing it in love with the needy.
As believers, it is our duty to financially and spiritually render support to everyone in faith. We have to be compassionate towards everyone around us. We should also remember to return whatever we borrowed because the bible teaches us not to owe anyone. So let's always render support to those in need because we are financially responsible for the welfare of our brethren.
Thanks for your support
