What are the important points we have learned from God's words discussed in the Zoom meeting?
We should try to fulfill what the Lord Jesus wanted us to do. Whether we are light or weight drinkers, we should know that it has a dangerous effect on us. Alcohol is toxic to our body and some dangerous diseases are coursed by it. Our bodies can easily addicted to some substance because that is how our body was designed.
Even chlorine in the water affects our bodies negatively in the long run. So, we should be very careful about what we consume. We can see the effect of our drugs on the life of those indulging in them because it is very addictive so much so that even if they want to leave, they would find it difficult to leave.
If we put our trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, He can help us get free from all evil vices. There are many testimonies of people who help to get rid of their vice. I man shared his testimony of how God changed him and help him get rid of his many vices. He moves to Canada from the Philippines by work permit from his wife.
He eventually decided to join the mass indoctrination after trying some other churches. After listening to the mass indoctrination, he got Baptist. Although, some hindrances wanted to stop.
It is God that is setting an opportunity for us to do good and when we have the opportunity, we should do good if it is in our power to do it. If we see hungry people and we have food to give, we give the person food. Doing good is not an option but is an obligation because the Lord Jesus has commissioned us to do good to our fellow men.
MCGI care provides drinkable water for people in a remote areas. With this water that was provided to those people, they would be able to have good water rather than dirty water. They can also use the water to wet their plants.
What are our old beliefs or expectations that were improved by listening in the Zoom meeting?
I used to think that there are no side effects of drugs and alcohol not until I had a full understanding of the dangers. The teaching helps us to understand the effect of drugs and alcohol on our bodies and what to do to get rid of them.
How does the study affect us that can make us a better person than we can use in our daily lives?
The teaching help to know the importance of seizing every opportunity to do good for our fellow men. In other words, with should see opportunities even in difficult moments. MCGI care demonstrated was to do good to our fellow man by providing water to those in remote places and this demonstration helps me to have full knowledge of the way to go in life.
