Here are the things I learnt from the Live mass Indoctrination that was done on Zoom.
There are thousands of churches called in various ways such as witnesses of Jehovah.
Some don't call themselves church as Jesus Christ called it.
The intention is to analyse the doctrines of faith.
The proper name of the congregation build by God is church, ecclesia, those called out by God.
Ecclessia means the calling out.
Members of the earlier churches were called out from Judaism and other religions
Galatians 1:13-15
For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it: And profited in the Jews' religion above many my equals in mine own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers. But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace,
The former Christians were called to go out from their former religions
John 11:52
And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad.
Ephesians 4:4
There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
God called us all to gather all in one body.
Colossians 1:18
And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
The church is the body in which all are called to gather, being one body in Christ
There is one church in the Bible and that church is called the church of God.
1 Corinthians 11:22
What? have ye not houses to eat and to drink in? or despise ye the church of God, and shame them that have not? What shall I say to you? shall I praise you in this? I praise you not.
1 Corinthians 11:16
But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God.
Acts 20:28
Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
The will of God is that his church be called by his name.
John 17:11
And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.
The name of God is an edifice that we can run to to be saved.
So the church of God should be called by the name of God.
Proverbs 18:10
The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.
1 Timothy 3:15
But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.
Church of the living God is the pillar and ground of the truth.
Proverbs 22:1
A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold.
If we truly believe in the Bible there should not be any other church we should choose than the church of God, because even the apostles were in the church of God in Bible.
