Here are the things I learnt from the teachings in the Bible session.
WE were made to understand that in the world today, there are so many fake pastors, preachers who use signs and wonders to gain members to their church. They deceive people.
John 3:34
For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.
They don't mind or care about the Bible, that is to thoroughly explain and preach the doctrines in the Bible.
John 7:17
If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.
To be sure of the word of God, we need to ensure that it comes from the Bible, because in asmuch as alot of pastors now preach their own doctrines,
No one is allowed to add or deduct from what was written down from God
Revelation 22:18
For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
The Bible is complete and perfect, no one not even pastors or preachers are allowed to add or subtract anything from what was written in the Bible, because this is the means of salvation for many.
Mathew 11:28
All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.
