Here are the things I had learnt from today's indoctrination session which was live on zoom
We have an obligation before God to do good to all men even to our enemies.
Philippians 2:15
That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;
Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.
As lights we should burn out or give up.
We should continually give out light.
Our way of life can speak, it can express something.
Our manner of living speaks to others, it can express good things.
This is our responsibility as we relate to all men.
1 Peter 2:12
Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.
By our good conducts towards men, even when they speak evil of us, they will glorify God in heaven
God gave us the obligation to be lights to all men so that men will realise that there is a true God.
They will see the Love, good works, kindness as a reflection of the true God.
Mathew 5:14-16
Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
If we do and keep the teachings of God then we will be doing good works
1 Corinthians 5:11-13
But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat. For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within? But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.
The Bible instructions is to expel brethrens of the fold who don't keep the commandments of God, they should not be tolerated.
A man who doesn't want to be corrected of his evil ways after the first admonitions they should be rejected.
God's commandments is to do good, love all men and those that don't want to obey should be expelled.
