Greetings everyone on this beautiful platform. It is another victorious day for the lovers of Hive Blockchain technology. Without being alive, we won't have access to this platform to do one thing or the other. God is faithful and just. The man who sits on the throne of Mercy.
During my personal retreat, I encountered God's word. It is the sweetest moment a believer should enquire of the lord and to behold the beauty of the Lord. The presence of the lord is crucial in man's life who is aspiring for godly living. David, in the bible, prioritize God's presence over anything in his life.
While I was praying, I had an encounter in the book of Hebrews 4:12-13.
Hebrews 4:12 For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart.
Hebrews 4:13 And not a creature exists that is concealed from His sight, but all things are open and exposed, naked and defenseless to the eyes of Him with Whom we have to do.
This word came heavily to my heart. The reason I tagged my topic “the efficacy of God's word” is that, the word of the lord has the ability to effect a man's life. The word of the Lord is quick and sharp. It brings deadly things to come alive, it could be your prayer life, spiritual gifts, talent. The word of the lord makes a man “a voice” to his nation. As the word of the lord is active, it makes every inactive situations alive.
The word of the lord gives strength to do the impossible things. It gives boldness to people to declare the goodness of the lord to the poor. It provides access to move to the place of your assignments. Just like what happened to Jeremiah in the bible. God called him, when he was a child, to go to the nation to speak His word to the people. He told God,' that he can't speak, that he is a child'. God said to him that he will go to all the places that He will send him.
God encourages him not to be afraid of the people's faces, that he would be with him. Then God straight forth his hand and touched his mouth and put his words in his mouth. The words God put in Jeremiah's mouth carries power to destroy, to root out and to pull down every stronghold and to build again. This is what the power of the word of the lord can do.
The word of the Lord stirs our spirit man. Sharper than any two-edged sword. God's word is a comprehensive tool for training anyone who comes under its influence and authority. It is a true key to unlock our destinies, and helps us to move into our beautiful future.
His word brings to pass His purposes for our lives and completes them.
Therefore, God has given His power through his word to tread upon serpent and scorpions in our families.
The same power, peter, and Paul received through the word to heal the sick, raise the dead and the blinds to see. There is so much about the power of the word of God.
The word of the Lord is real, alive, and tangible. We should know His word better.
