Humans are not givem the power to know about the future but only God has that kind of power to know everything. Scripture shows that God is the One who declares the end from the beginning, and His plans stand firm through all generations. While people may desire to know what lies ahead, the Bible warns against seeking hidden knowledge through ungodly means, such as divination or sorcery, because these practices lead people away from trusting God.
Instead of revealing every detail about the future, God calls believers to live by faith and trust in His guidance each day. He gives wisdom through His Word and directs our steps as we follow Him. The focus is not on predicting tomorrow, but on walking in obedience today, believing that God is in control of what is to come and that His plans are good.
Although sometimes the bible reveals the future to his prophets in order to tell us some little things we need to know about what is ahead of us in life. These revelations are not for human pride or curiosity, but to strengthen faith and bring people closer to Him. Therefore, knowing the future in a biblical sense is about trusting God’s sovereignty rather than trying to control or uncover what He has not revealed.
