The Bible shows clearly that God is a loving and caring Father, and He does not take pleasure in death, especially the death of children. Life is seen as a precious gift from God, and from the beginning, He created life to grow and flourish. The pain of losing a child is real, and Scripture often shows that God is close to those who are brokenhearted and grieving.
The death of children after birth is not presented in the Bible as something God loves or desires. Instead, death entered the world because of sin, and it affects all people, both young and old.
This means that tragedies, including the loss of infants, are part of a broken world, not a reflection of God’s joy or approval.
