The Bible presents Jesus Christ as central to faith, revealing Him as the Son of God and the Savior of the world. Through Him, God made Himself known in a personal way, showing His character, love, and plan for salvation. Because of this, many believers direct their worship to Jesus, recognizing His divine authority and His role in redeeming humanity.
At the same time, Scripture consistently teaches that worship belongs to God alone. From the Old Testament to the New, God commands His people not to worship any other being. This foundation is important, because it shows that true worship must always be directed toward the one true God, who is worthy above all.
