I came across the message titled:
Should we believe our ancestors?
And it's of a truth that alot of people believes in their ancestors,I feel alot of people takes their ancestors like their gods
Biblically it is wrong, because some are putting their faith,beliefs and trust on their ancestors.
But the truth is that ,believing in ancestors sometimes betrays d truth.
And we can only find the truth through our Lord Jesus Christ,for he is the truth.
John 14:6 for Jesus Christ is the only truth,the wasy and life
Matthew 17 : 5
While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.
From the above scriptures
God has already given to all mankind who to lean on.
He emphasized that we should hear ye him
This is the only trust worthy person whom our father permitted us to believe him.
For he is his beloved.
When we believe in the lord Jesus Christ,
He leads us closer to the father,whereas,
Believing in our ancestors will only take us away from God
