GRACE
In my today's entry I want to talk about the difference between Grace and effort with a clear example of what happened while I was in school.
Before I go further I will like to give meaning of Grace
To my own understanding!
Grace is unmerited favor a Christian enjoys without working for it.
One who enjoys grace lacks struggle,pain, sorrow and shame in his/her life because God's grace is a Grace that overshadows disgrace.
When you are enjoying Favour what other people struggle to get you see your self receiving them without making effort or going through processes to get them,that I see as the true definition of Grace.
GRACE AND EFFORT
They is a big and very clear difference between Grace and effort of which I will like to give example of it with my experience at school and that of my roommates.
How it started
I gained Addmision into higher institution not know how to go about it because I wasn't brilliant when it comes to anything relating to study but other angles of life I know my way😆
All I could do was to seek for God grace!
The journey started though it wasn't easy at first.
Lectures will come to class lecture but my brain wasn't smart enough to understand the lecture, going home after school I don't even have time to look for someone that will educate me more about the topics or even time to go for home lessons,do to my business and other things.
But my friend has all the time to read even at midnight, attend lessons goes to lecture early buy all necessary textbooks,I mean she does everything that is expected of her to do as a student but she forgot to do one thing!
Which is asking God's Grace to take over her studies.
When our first semester result came out I made all my papers but she had two carryover in two course she never expected.
Of which I was shocked because I know too well that those two courses she failed was among her best course.
Mine was all cleared without error or mistake because God's grace was at work, during the exams I wasn't even reading because of my business I hadly have time to read the little time I have was at night which I used it to pray and rest.
I could go to exam hall look for a comfortable place to sit answer the question in my own way and leave the rest for God yet I came out victorious 🙌.
Second semester my dear friend taught maybe they was what I usually do behind the scene that she don't know about.
This time around she have to spend money paying lectures to enable her pass but all was to no avail,that was even the semester her script got missing.
But I never experienced repeating any course, carryover or missing script throughout my stay in school despite the fact that I wasn't too good with studies.
CONCLUSION
The grace was not just working for me like that I could go to church sometimes sew seed for God's work to be carried out, also i don't joke with my tithes and offering. All these are what activates Grace to work in the life of a christian and for Grace to work for you, your spirituality matter's aswell.
