The Bible shows us that God is merciful and compassionate even when people disobey Him, He still gives them chances to repent and return to the right path.
Many people make mistakes because of poverty, peer pressure, greed or bad influence yet God’s love still reaches out to them.
The story of the prodigal son in the Bible teaches us about God’s protection and forgiveness. The young man wasted his father’s property in sinful living but when he returned home in repentance, his father welcomed him with open arms. This shows that God does not hate sinners but He desires them to change and be saved.
Saul persecuted Christians before becoming the great apostle known as Paul the Apostle. God gave him another chance and transformed his life completely, this proves that no sinner is beyond God’s mercy.
However, God’s protection does not mean He supports sin. Sin has consequences and the Bible warns that evil ways can lead to destruction. God protects sinners by giving them life, grace and opportunities to repent. His protection is an invitation to change not a license to continue doing wrong.
As Christians, we must not condemn sinners harshly instead, we should pray for them, encourage them and lead them toward God. Jesus Christ came into the world not only for righteous people but also for sinners. Through faith, repentance and obedience to God, every sinner can receive divine protection, peace and salvation.
